Minutes and papers of the Joint Pastoral Committee for the dioceses of London and Chelmsford to consider a proposal by the Chelmsford Diocesan Conference that five London boroughs in the diocese of Chelmsford be designated an Episcopal District under the Bishop of Barking and transferred to the diocese of London, 1970-1 (ff.1-53).
Minutes and papers of the Episcopal Oversight Commission of the diocese of Chelmsford appointed to examine the future of the Barking Episcopal Area and the nature of episcopal oversight in the whole diocese, 1972-4. Included (ff. 194-216) is a copy of the commission's report, 1974 (ff.54-220).
