Description:

Railway No. 1 Construction of railway from March to Norwich.

Railway No. 2 Line to leave Railway No. 1 at Upwell and travelling North-West to join the Midland Counties Railway (Peterborough, Wisbech and Sutton, Branch) in the parish of Wisbech St. Peter.

Railway No. 3 Line to leave Railway No. 2 in Wisbech St. Peter and join the Peterborough, Wisbech and Sutton Railway.

Railway No. 4 Line to leave Railway No. 2 and join the March and Wisbech Railway, (all in the parish of Wisbech St. Peter).

Railway No. 5 Line to form a junction with the G.E.R. (Ely to Lynn Branch) and Railway No. 1 at Downham Market.

Railway Nos. 6 & 7 Line to form a junction between Railway No. 1 and Thetford and Watton Railway.

Railway No. 8 Line to form a junction between Railway No. 7 and Thetford and Watton Railway.

Railway No. 9 Line to leave Railway No. 1 in the parish of Earlham and travel North-West to Taverham.

Railway Nos. 10, 11 & 12 Junction lines within the city of Norwich.

Passing through the following parishes:

1. March, Elm, Upwell, (all co. Cambridgeshire). Outwell, Stow Bardolph, Wimbotsham, Downham, West Riston, Bexwell, Crimplesham, West Dereham, Wereham, Wretton, Stoke Ferry, Northwold, Oxborough, Fouldon, Hilborough, Longford, Bodney, Little Cressingham, Threxton, Saham Toney, Watton, Carbrooke, Scoulton, Woodrising, Southburgh, Hingham, Hardingham, Runhall, Brandon Parva, Barnham Broom, Colton, Marlingford, Easton, Bauburgh, Bowthorpe (all co. Norfolk). Earlham, Eaton, Lakenham, Trowse, St. John at Sepulchre, St. Peter at Southgate, parish of St. Julian, parish of St. Ethelred, parish of St. John at Timberhill, St. Michael at Thorn.

2,3 & 4. Wisbech St. Peter, Elm (both Co. Cambridgeshire).

Outwell and Upwell, (co. Norfolk).

5. Downham (co. Norfolk).

6,7 & 8. Watton (co. Norfolk).

9. Earlham, within the city and county of Norwich, Costessey, Drayton, Taverham, (all co. Norfolk).

10, 11 & 12. Lakenham, in the city and county of Norwich. (Norfolk).

- 4 Ordnance Survey sheets, scale 1 inch to 1 mile.

- Book of reference.

Scales:

- Plans and sections: Horizontal- 6 chains (132 yards) to 1 inch; Vertical-80 feet to 1 inch.

- Cross Sections: Horizontal- 5 chains to 1 inch. (110 yards); Vertical- 40 feet to 1 inch.
