Description

An appendix relating to Henry Cavendish's theory of electricity.

The record has a cover note in William Snow Harris' writing "No 3 [crossed out in pencil and replaced with "5 see No. 11"] this is an Appendix ["to No 1" crossed out by red pen and replaced with "No 4"] containing more Mathematical Electricity upon the Cavendishs theory". There are pencil notes on the same page "Appendix" "It is [illegible] the experiments No 11 it refers to [illegible]". There is a further cover paper with "Appendix" written on it in Henry Cavendish's handwriting. The papers have additional papers stuck on or over writing with amendments by Cavendish, containing notes, diagrams and calculations.
