Letter from Charles Wright, Clerk to the Guardians of the Mitford and Launditch Poor Law Union, to the Poor Law Board, transmitting a copy of a resolution passed by the guardians relative to the office of Infant Schoolmistress becoming vacant due to the appointment of Miss Murrell [Mary Ann Murrell] to Assistant Matron.
Copy of resolution passed at guardians meeting on 7 February 1870. Mary Ann Murrell requested permission to resign as Infant Schoolmistress and take the situation of Assistant Matron vacant with Miss Roberts' [Kate Roberts] departure, agreed. Clerk to advertise for an infant schoolmistress.
