A.S.C. was an Association of Chief Architects or their designates from 12 County Councils on the eastern side of the County stretching from Suffolk to the N. Riding of Yorks, and formed in Northampton in 1964. It intended to promote the rationalisation of the use of standardised building components and traditional building methods, and encourage the general exchange of ideas
