Description

Indenture, tripartite, delcaration of trust in form of lease and release:

(1) Robert Lowe

(2) William Thick

(3) James Houson and Peter Whitewood

Reciting lease and release of even date (DD/SK/60/16 & 17 above) and that Elizabeth Thick, wife of W.T., by power granted under Will of Jonathan Truman (DD/SK/60/13) has appointed cottages, tenements and lands in Oxton, after her death in trust for 2 children - Elizabeth aged 15 and Charlotte aged 6. £500 of £600 purchase money paid by R.L. for property, to be retained in hands of R.L. and secured by mortgage for 1000 years to (3), upon trusts declared below. If R.L. repays mortgage and interest by 19 Nov next, agreement to be void.

Declaration of trust on the term of 1000 years created on the property bought by (1) from (2) for indemnifying (1) against claims of children of Elizabeth and William Thick.

Endorsed 2 Nov 1792. R.L. repaid mortgage of £500. Money then lent by (3) to (1) as security of property in Charles Street, Staff. Pancras, Middlesex, on same conditions as above. Executed at request of (1).

Endorsed 23 Mar 1799. Whereas Elizabeth daughter of (2) was 21 on 22 Feb last and at her request and that of (1), (2) and (3), had assigned all leasehold premises etc. in Oxton to (2), her father. Elizabeth, daughter of (2) in consequence of above assignment and for 1/- paid by R.L. and Richard Becher grants to R.L. and Richard Becher grants to R.L. and R.B. cottages etc. in Oxton, purchase by R.L. from (2). For use of R.L. and R.B. after death of Elizabeth Thick, wife of (2). Also (3) to (2) claim to above premises in Oxton for remainder of 1000 years.
