Folio 211. Draft letter from the Local Government Board to Nicholas Polkinthorne, Assistant Overseer of Litcham, of the Mitford and Launditch Poor Law Union. They request from him, an explanation as to why on a report received from the district auditor it states his receipt check book has not been filled up so as to correspond with the rate book and also that copies of monthly statements have not been delivered to the guardians or overseers during the half year.
