Observations on the Navy and Naval Warfare, with special reference to the war with the Dutch in 1664, by Sir William Coventry; [1666]. Autograph draft, apparently imperfect. The author thus describes his design, as being "only to sell downe those observations which occurre to mee from the experience of the warre with the Dutch in which his Ma. hath bin engaged since 1664. I doe not meane an history of the warre, but only to sell downe the principall things which may give light to the like undertaking for the future".
