Will.

Testator : Joyous als. Joyce Shelvock, wife of John Shelvocke of Shrewsbury, co. Salop., gent.

Legacies : Interest in messuage and lands in Llanvechan [Llanfechain] in parish of Tregynon, co. Mtg., mortgaged to her by David Jones for £200 (394); and interest in Vachwen meadow in Tregynon mortgaged for £100 by Edward Blakmer to George Hodson of the Lea, co. Salop., gent., brother of testator in trust for her ; and the Goral dee in Llanfechain to Mary Jones, youngest dau. of David Jones and Mary, his wife (testator's niece), and her issue ; in default of issue, to Anne, eldest dau. of David, and Mary Jones, and her issue; in default to issue of their mother, then to George Hodson, testator's brother, his heirs and assigns. £4 p.a. for 5 yrs. after her death to George Hodson from issues of the meadow (vachwen meadow), and to Mary Jones, wife of David Jones, from issues of the Goral dee, i.e. £3 from Vachwen meadow and £1 from the Goral dee.

George Hodson is directed within 3 months of testator's death, to convey Vachwen meadow to uses specified in this will, and money be secured to Mary Jones, her niece. If after the expiration of 5 yr. term, the same annuity cannot be continued, Mary Jones should have £6 p.a. out of premises mortgaged by her husband, David Jones. If he redeem mortgaged lands, the money to be used for purchase of lands to same uses as mortgaged premises.

Silver tankard and silver bowl to George Hodson. Trunk, certain household goods (specified) from house in Tregynon to Mary Jones, dau. of Mary Jones, her niece.

If Mary Jones, dau. of testator's niece, attain 21, she is to pay £20 to any other surviving child/children of her mother.

Testator's husband to have tuition of Mary Jones, dau. of Mary and David Jones, and of Anne Jones if Mary die Other small legacies.

Executors : John Shelvocke, testator's husband, George Hodson, her brother, and in case of death/refusal, George Hudson, vicar of Baschurch, her nephew, and William Syor of Tregynon, gent.
