Description

In 1834 John Sell of Wandsworth in Surrey, gentleman, leased a piece of land, marked out as a site for a windmill (shown on plan), to Richard Scrase Saxby of Berwick, yeoman (HIL/6/31/1). He mortgaged it in 1835 (HIL/6/31/3) and through default the property passed to Montague Newland in 1836 (HIL/6/31/7) who sold to Walter White of Chancery Lane, Middlesex, gentleman in 1843 (HIL/6/31/5). White mortgaged the property to Mrs Frances Munns (HIL/6/31/7), who bequeathed it to her son John Philip Munns (HIL/6/31/9)
