Black soft-covered album measuring 458x324mm containing 83 prints pasted-in, the majority with typescript captions beneath each image. A number of the panoramic views in the album are badly torn and folded along the joins. The album provides a graphic documentation of the damage wrought by the disastrous floods of September 1908, when over 18,000 houses were washed away with considerable loss of life, when the Musi flooded its banks after incessant rain.
