Description

Liverpool Daily Post: Pilotless jet aircraft tested at Woomera. The first piloted aircraft known as the Pika, made its initial flight in October 1950. Two Pikas have accumulated almost 100 flying hours. The first Jindivik was delivered to Woomera in November 1951, and the first pilotless flight was made in August 1952. The first engine was the Armstorng Siddeley Adder. Coventry Evening Telegraph: Weapon of the future launched. Jindivik was the Adder. Bristol Evening News: Robot jet our saviour. Jindivik Mk.1 with the Adder
