Description (What the record is about)
-
The Deanery, Pontesbury, Salop.
Edward M. Furley to Swire.
He returns Seddon's letter (see 667/32). It is true that the arrangement was made for Furley's benefit, and also for that of Cruckton where he is residing, and no alteration can take place without his and the Bishop's consent, but he would like to see a suitable division of the parish while he is still rector. As to Q.A.B. - any money derived from the sale of the glebe would be paid to them and the surplus after the expenditure on the building of a rectory would be by them invested for the benefit of the living 'I see no necessity for a vestry meeting as you will be unable to attend the visitation.'
