3) Edmond Pateshall, draper, of Shrewsbury.
In order to extinguish and bar estates tail and remainders in the property and vest an absolute power to dispose of it in Seymour, and in consideration of 10/- from T. to S., Seymour releases to Travers the capital messuage or late manor house of Up Rossall alias the Isle of Rossall and all buildings and gardens belonging; and the piece of land called the Leyes adjoining the capital messuage (6 acres), and the piece of land called the Bakehouse Yard (2 acres); 3 pieces of pasture called three broomy fields and the Wallnut tree Yard lying next the Bakehouse Yard (25 acres); and the piece of arable land called the Shuttfield (20 acres); and the piece of land called Calves Croft adjoining the Shuttfield (5 acres); and the pieces of pasture called the two biggest Bottom fields (42 acres); and two pieces of meadow called the Sandy Meadows or Broomfield Meadows (24 acres); and the piece of arable land called the Marle Piece beyond the Poole (16 acres) and 8 acres of moss lying about the Poole; and the piece of arable called the Great Barres (15 acres); and the piece of land called the little Barres (5 acres); all which property was formerly part of the Manor of Up Rossall and is in the liberties of Shrewsbury, in the parish of St. Chadd, formerly in the tenures of Roger Poole, William Harper and Adam Davies, and now of Seymour, with everything belonging; to hold to Travers and his heirs forever that T. might become a perfect tenant of the freehold of the premises against whom a common Recovery may be made; and it is agreed between the parties that Pateshall shall before the end of Hilary Term next sue for a writ of entry sur disseissin en le post against Travers, to which T. or his attorney shall appear to vouch to warranty S., who in turn is to vouch to warranty the common vouchee, and so suffer a recovery which shall be to the use of Seymour, his heirs and assigns forever.
