Description

Annual returns giving names, professions and residence of members of the Lodge at the Freemasons' Hall, Nassau, Bahama Islands [Antients] and general correspondence relating to the running of the lodge. Years 1792, 1798 - 1801 and 1803 are not extant.

Administrative / biographical background

The unnamed lodge was established in 1787 and met at an unknown location in Nassau, New Providence, Bahama Islands, West Indies. From 1794 the lodge met at the Webster's Tavern, Nassau and in 1804 the lodge moved to the Freemasons' Tavern, Nassau. The lodge made no returns after 1814 and was erased in 1828.
