Note on the Stillingfleet papers: ff.53-6, 61-83 were sold by M.R.E. Stillingfleet at Sotheby's on 17 December 1981 (lot 164). Folios 53-6 and 61-7 were subsequently purchased by the Friends of Lambeth Palace Library from a book-seller. Folios 68-83 were sold at Sotheby's for the second time on 16 November 1982 (lot 571) and were purchased by the Friends of Lambeth Palace Library.
