(1) Letters of attorney From: John Bernard' of Danbury, Essex, husbandman To: Robert Healder' of the city of Canterbury Robert is to receive £3 of Robert Wheteley of St Mary Northgate parish, Canterbury, tailor, which Robert Wheteley owes John and, if neccessary, is to sue him to recover it. He is also to give Robert Wheteley an acquittance when he receives the money. Dated 11 May 1456. (2) Bond From: Thomas atte Dane senior of Herne parish, Kent, husbandman To: Thomas kele of Stourmouth parish, Kent In £40, payable as specified. No date. (3) Account Memorandum of expenses paid by John Alyen for the work of the prior of Canterbury Cathedral Priory. Several entries relate to building materials. Dated in the reign of Henry VI, but regnal year omitted. No date. [Date: handwriting and date of originals.]
