Letter-book of Matthew Prior, containing copies of his letters from the Hague, 3 Jan., 1693 - 5 Nov., 1697; preceded by copies of six letters (a-f) to his uncle, aunt and cousin and to Dr Humphrey Gower, written in 1685. The letters are generally in a secretary's hand, but some are, wholly or partially, autograph. Both in this volume and those that follow a brief calendar of contents is prefixed.
