Parties (a) and (i) as in AMS1122

Farm called Browns in Wadhurst in occ. (in 1695) of William Field (150a.) part of which is now Gatehouse Farm (III in AMS1122)

(a) Will endeavour to discover the representatives of those holding the terms below, and when found, make suitable assignment to (i), since there is no proof of the terms having merged in the freehold

Recites: (i) Mortgage by lease of 1000 years, 20 November 1695, by Harry Haslen of Wadhurst, gent, and w. Elizabeth to Edward Milward of Hastings, gent., of premises for £250, which by assignments (the last being dated 5 January 1701) is vested in Francis Shippery and Thomas Grandford

(ii) Covenant to levy a fine, 6 November 1765 by Joseph Woodrow and w. Mary, to Robert Keen and Edward Parsons [and other parties] of a term of 1000 years on Three Oaks alias Brown farm on death of Mary Milburn and Elizabeth Gascoigne

(iii) assignment of term as in (ii) by Keen and Parsons at the direction of Mary Milburn (the survivor) to Benjamin Marcy Burton in trust for Mary

(iv) AMS1122
