The Union Lodge was named and established in 1809. In 1809 the lodge met at an unknown location on the Island of Curacoa, in the West Indies. As this lodge was the first on the Island it also became known as No. 1. In 1811 the lodge united with the other lodge on the Island called the Lodge of Contentment, which was a 'Moderns' lodge under the Grand Lodge of Holland. The lodge was erased in 1862.
