Humphrey Sandford of the Isle, 1. Body to be decently interred at the discretion of the executors to be after named. 2. Debts and funeral expenses to be paid. 3. To son Humphrey his iron chest and stone ring. 4. To son Folliot his scrutore and silver tankard. 5. To son Job his beuroe and sliver pint cup. 6. to son Richard the chest of drawers in his (H.S's) room, the clock, the little silver cup and 6 silver spoons. 7. Daughters. Rebecca her mother's gold watch, Mary his old gold watch and her mother's diamond ring, Ann her mother's diamond earings. To sons Job and Richard and heirs in equal shares the annuity or rent charge of £10 from the farm of Alveld in the parish of Condover, lately given to him by cousin Elizabeth Boraston, then paying the sums of money charged upon it in the deed of grant from cousin to him. In case either son should die without issue the whole rent charge to be bequeathed to daughters; if either of three daughters die without issue then rent charge to descend to the survivor, or to right heirs of testator. To just and honest servant maid Mary Speake £10. Concerning the residue of his personal estate to be equally divided among the 6 younger children, son Humphrey and daughter Rebecca appointed as executors for will.

As there is a quantity of coppice wood at Edgton worth £100 and more, which he hoped to have been sold for the benefit of the younger children, as he had been at considerable expense planting in the Isle, in time to be a benefit to eldest son Humphrey Sandford, but has prevented provision for the younger children. Desires that eldest son Humphrey Sandford shall pay £200 to the younger children, £50 to Folliot and the remainder to be shared among the others equally, when each reaches 21.
William Billingsley of Shrewsbury grocer, and Folliot Sandford of Shrewsbury gent. declare on oath they were acquainted with Humphrey Sandford late of the Isle, and that his death was March 1741. They testify that the memorandum affixed to the will of Humphrey Sandford to be of his writing and believe it to be written by him. Signed William Billingsley, and Folliot Sandford, June 15th 1741.
Attached. Certificate of the proving of the above will, June 27th 1741, Prerogative court of Canterbury, before John Bettesworth Commissary of the court.
