The Lodge of Truth, No. 395 was granted its warrant on 28 August 1798 and met at three London taverns during its working life. These were: the Prince of Wales' Coffee House, Exeter Street, Sloane Street from 1798, the Cadogan Arms, Sloane Street, Chelsea from 1807 and finally the King's Head, Knightsbridge from 1816. The lodge also had three changes of numeration. It was recorded as No. 571 in 1792, No. 590 in 1814 and No. 395 in 1832. The lodge was erased and its warrant returned in 1850.
