The survey records detailed condition of the properties, internally and externally, in the village in May 1985. r n r nIncluded is a letter from Flatt & Co Solicitors, acting on behalf of Unilever, referring to the survey and the transfer to the village ownership from Unichema to a housing association, Merseyside Improved Houses [this was in response to the village being designated as a conservation area 1985/1986. This letter is dated 14 May 1987.
