Folios 352-353. Letter from Walter May Barton, Clerk to the Rural Sanitary Authority of the Mitford and Launditch Poor Law Union, to the Local Government Board, enclosing a resolution passed at a meeting of the Rural Sanitary Authority on 14 January 1880, in respect of the remuneration to the clerk of the sum of £59 1s 2d.
Extract from guardian's minutes dated 19 January 1880, an account was presented of the work performed by Charles Wright, the late clerk to the committee, from Lady Day 1878 to the date of his resignation, 10 November 1879. It was resolved subject to the consent of the Local Government Board to pay the above sum to him for his services during that period.
