Lodge of Friendship was granted a warrant by the Moderns' Grand Lodge to meet in a private room at the rear of the Castle Hotel, Dartmouth as No. 435 in 1780. In 1781 the Lodge was renumbered as No. 438, as No. 352 in 1792, as No. 453 at the union between the Moderns' and Antients' Grand Lodges to form the United Grand Lodge of England in 1814 and then renumbered as No. 303 in 1832. The Lodge was erased in 1851.
