E/282B/12/1-4, E/282B/14/1 and E/282B/19/1,2 were deposited by the Head Teacher in January 1988. E/282B/1/1-2 were deposited by the Head Teacher in March 1993.

Erected as a National School (mixed) in London Road, 1850, enlarged in 1859. Transferred to School Board in 1873. A new girls' school was erected in 1883 and a new wing added to the infants school in 1901.
The re-named London Meed C.P. School opened in new buildings in Chanctonbury Road in April 1987.
