Administrative / biographical background

The Durnovarian Lodge was named and established in 1775 and met at the King's Arms, High East Street, Dorchester, Dorset. In 1799 the lodge met at the Antelope Inn, Cornhill, Dorcester and the meetings remained there until 1830 when the lodge was erased.
