Description (What the record is about)
-
This is the sort of morning I've been waiting for. Bright and sunny (not too contrasty), almost cloudless sky. Weather forecast was wrong. Cloud and rain predicted.
1 - 8 Early start : 9 a.m.
Notice any difference between these shots and the previous ones? The "NO SHOOTING ALLOWED" sign has now gone. This gave me an excuse to photograph the post once again. I've now got "a before and after" set of photographs.
11 - 17 A repeat of the series of photographs taken on film c7/1/12 of the track opposite Albert Hulme's, but under different lighting conditions. The grass now looks bleached out. These photographs could have been taken at the end of a long hot summer. The exposure and point of focus was varied slightly on these shots. I think neg. no.14 will probably print the best.
I like the arrangement of the trees and the telegraph poles on the horizon in these photos.
Note
The mark on neg. no. 7 on the contact sheet was caused by dust on the enlarger's condenser, it's not a blemish on the negative.
