Description

Folios 737-742. Draft letter from the Poor Law Board, to Charles Wright, Clerk to the Guardians of the Mitford and Launditch Poor Law Union, enclosing certificates awarded to the schoolmaster and schoolmistress of the workhouse.
Teaching certificate from the Committee of the Council on Education awarded to Robert Bradfield, Schoolmaster based on the inspection by H G Bowyer, H M Inspector of Parochial Union Schools. The certificate shows the Board's estimate of the candidate's qualifications and the sums allowed from the Parliamentary Grant for teachers.
