Some files have been destroyed by the Archivist (EP) April 1995, using these principles: 1) The correspondence led nowhere or no action was taken. 2) The file contained literature only. 3) The kindred body had no permanent significance in relation to the history of the Council's work. A note of the name and dates of the destroyed files has been made, so at least some record will survive. For the time being, some files within the late 1980s-1990s period have been retained even if they could be destroyed by the above guidelines.
