In the hall of the Hospital of the King held at Newport on Tuesday next before the feast of St. Laurence 3 H.5 [1415].
Thomas Howe attached to answer, Robert Traford, John Kene and Thomas Middlemershe in a plea of land. Whereas said Thomas How holds of said John Kene, Thomas Middelmersh [and Robert Trafford ?] 2 messuages, 74 acres of land and 1 acre of pasture in Sutton, I.W. for service and rent of 12d. per year, which rents and services were not paid for 7 years, whereupon the said querents at Sutton in this year took 7 oxon and 2 cows as a distress
