The Mid-Yorkshire Coal Sales Association Limited was incorporated on 6 August 1936. The Association was a selling agent for Earl Fitzwilliam's Collieries Co., The New Monckton Collieries Ltd., The Houghton Main Colliery Co. Ltd., The Wath Main Colliery Co. Ltd., Dearne Valley Colliery Co. Ltd., The Manor Colliery, The Wortley Coal Company and the Hollindyke Colliery Co. Ltd. The Company went into voluntary liquidation in 1952.
