The files contain:. correspondence dated between 1873 and 1913, relating to the status of Bahrainis in Ottoman Turkey, and containing some correspondence in the Ottoman Turkish script (IOR/R/15/2/1981); accounts for the Bahrain Political Agency for the periods April 1922 to April 1923 (IOR/R/15/2/1982) and April 1946 to March 1947 (IOR/R/15/2/1983); orders of the Political Agency for the periods March 1900 to September 1937 (IOR/R/15/2/1984) and October 1937 to October 1949 (IOR/R/15/2/1985); statements of food stocks held during and immediately after the Second World War by the Government of Bahrain, Trucial Coast and the United Kingdom Commercial Corporation in Bahrain (IOR/R/15/2/1986); a table of court fees for the Bahrain Political Agency (IOR/R/15/2/1987); notices of birth for the period 1938 to 1948, sent to the Bahrain Political Agent in his capacity as Registrar of Births and Deaths (IOR/R/15/2/1988); copies of accounts of the Political Officer in Doha, 1950-1951 (IOR/R/15/2/1989)
