Railway no 1 diverges from the London and Brighton main line at Croydon, and runs via Sanderstead, Warlingham, etc, to join the East Grinstead and Tunbridge Wells Railway ('now constructing') at Withyham. Sussex parish: Withyham.
Railway no 3 links the East Grinstead and Tunbridge Wells, and Brighton Uckfield and Tunbridge Wells, Railways (both 'now constructing') at Withyham.
Railway no 4 diverges from the authorised Tunbridge Wells and Eastbourne Railway at Warbleton, and joins the LBSC Hastings and Brighton line at St Leonards Station. Parishes: Warbleton, Herstmonceux, Wartling, Ashburnham, Ninfield, Catsfield, Crowhurst, Bexhill, Hollington, and St Leonards. Names Cowbeech.
Railway no 5 links the authorised Ouse Valley Railway at Hellingly with Railway no 4 at Wartling. Parishes: Hellingly, Chiddingly, Herstmonceux, Wartling.
Railway no 6 is a short link between the authorised Tunbridge Wells Railway, and Railway no 5, at Hellingly.
The final sheet shows road alterations at Ashburnham (Kitchenham Farm, etc).
Sections are given of intended lines and of relevant parts of other lines mentioned above, with horizontal scale as above and vertical scale 1": 10 chains. Cross-sections, on a separate sheet are included with horizontal scale 4": 30 chains and vertical scale 2.5": 100 feet. An OS map with proposed lines marked in red is included.
