Counterpart of lease for 51 years by the mayor, etc., of Newport to Mary Hall

Of a messuage etc., (used for a brew house), and a mill in Sea Street, bounded by the river running down to the quay on the north; also of a little void piece of ground on the north side of the said river extending to the river running from Foord Bridge, by the land sometime Dr James now Rumball Adams on west, Town lands on east, Sea Street on south, together with voyd piece of land on north side of the river extending to Winchester College lands, after surrender of a lease of 15 December 1704 to said Mary Hall. A parcel of land between Shispool Lane and the river, in breadth at street end 14 foot and river end 32 ft adjoining to the Town land in occupation of William Haskoll on n.w. and Town land in occupation of Ann Mouncher, widow, on south east with store house and other edifices and parcel of ground, formerly taken out of the river adjoining to the causeway, leading from the foot bridge, which lyeth over the river, by the brewhouse, late of Sarah Pyle, widow, towards Little London containing in breadth from the causeway 22 foot and from the Town land to the river southward as far as the end of the causeway and formerly granted to Mr John Newland, deceased.
