Sense unclear.] Agreement apparently relating to provision of wine to the priory. The prior has sold John 100 quarters of wheat and is to receive ... from him at the next vintage. ... amounting to £30 ... for every barrel... If the prior's butler does not want so much wine, John shall pay the rest in money ...Dated 21 Sep in the year of the reign of King Henry. Rest of date lost. [Date: handwriting. The prior is John Wodnesbergh, II, John Salisbury, I, or John Elham, II.]
