½ of messuage and close, and 2 closes (7a.) in Attenborough in Chilwell to s. Thos. for life, then to Rich. Smith of Tollerton, farmer, and Geo. Hardstaff of Hucknall Torkard, farmer, in trust for entail; in default of issue to s. Sam. ½ of same to s. Sam. for life, then to trustees for entail; in default to s. Thos.
To wife Mary, 12s. per week for life or widowhood charged on farm at Holme and Gamston, also 2 rooms, 2 beds and household furniture at Gamston.
To ds. Mary, wife of Gervas Voce of Annesley, farmer, Mary, wife of Rob. Green of Radcliffe on Trent, farmer, Anne, wife of Rob. Parr of Bassingfield, farmer, Hannah, wife of John Marriott of Gibsmeer, farmer, Amy, widow of Thos. Morris of Bassingfield, farmer, Catherine, wife of Thos. Miller of Gamston, yeo., and Frances, wife of Jas. Gelsthorpe of Annesley Woodhouse, farmer, £305 each.
To grandsons Wm. and John Copley, sons of late d. Eliz., wife of Gervas Copley of Cotgrave, farmer, £20 each, and to 2 grandds. Ann and Mary Copley, £10 each.
All residue to sons Thos. and Sam., executors.
