Date
1868-1880s
Description

Blue buckram volume containing 145 printing-out paper prints of views of Ajanta (2051-2106 from stereoscopic negatives by Robert Gill), and of sculpture fragments from Amravati (2107-2195 by Henry Cousens). The first page of the volume is dated November 5 1895, and this probably represents the date that this set of prints was made from negatives produced by Gill in the 1860s and by Cousens in 1880.
