Description

Background papers relating to the 1926 Valuation including details of loan scheme for the improvement of smallholdings and also a draft scheme with respect to the reconstruction and improvement of houses or buildings in the County pursuant to Section 1 of the Housing (Rural Workers) Act 1926.

File includes rental statistics for the 1926 Valuation giving the following information: name of scheme; number of acres; date of expiry of existing lease (where applicable); gross rental from tenants; other receipts such as wayleaves, easements, and sporting rents; and also the total gross rental.
