Hackney needs a Labour candidate, and the position is an easy one to take. Arranging a public meeting to take up the matter of Labour rep. The Liberals heard of it and their candidate, Horatio Bottomley, got Ben Tillett to speak on the Liberal platform; a bad blow to the cause. Encloses handbill for the Liberal meeting, corres. with Tillett about this, and Labour resolution passed about the meeting.
