Account book: at front, receipts of small amounts probably chief rents or proportion of land tax due from named tenants at Lady Day and Martinmas in following places in Warwickshire - Balsall, Bradnock Marsh, Fen End, Meer End, Olditch, Chadwitch End, Barston and Eastcote; at back, account of several charities belonging to Balsall poor; memos. of money received - eg. received of Wm. Sedgeley the sum of £416. 13s. Od. for principal & interest due to Thos. Bennett - 1749-1752; disbursements upon Mr. Benett's account - includes paid Mr. Steward £340; legacies including £5 to Balsall poor; payment to vicar of Hampton of 10s. 8d. for mortuary and burying Mr. Bennett; expenses and time going to Warwick, Coventry and Birmingham in getting bills to return £1300 to London, £1. 12s. 6d. Outer back cover inscribed Mr. Bennet's accounts.
