30 horse power side lever boat engine for land, with 32¾ inch cylinder, 2½ foot stroke, 20 horse engine framing.
Also drawing of 32 inch horizontal engine.Reverse plans and sections of the engine platform, plan and elevation of new boiler houses (partially coloured), longitudinal section of boiler, plan and cross-sections of boiler; plan and elevation of steam pipes - coloured original and draft pencil drawings; small sketch of part of the framing; press copy list of stones required for the engine platform; draft [?] elevation and plan of boiler house; plan of part of the mill and premises showing boiler house, canal etc.; draft [?] plan of boiler house. The reverse and coloured original drawings bear letter codes.
Also the following later items: new slide valve and case - partially coloured original drawing and draft [?] drawing, Jan. 1856; sketch of shafts and coupling, Apr. 1872; steam stop valve, pipes and feed-water pipes - pencil drawing and tracing, May 1873; main link - original and reverse drawings, Sep. & Oct. 1873; pencil drawing of part of framing [?]; pencil drawing of steam pipes (on large sheet of paper); 13 small sketches and tracings of delivery valve, grating of air pump bucket, steam and stop pipes, damper pipe, injection pipes etc. (none of these items are dated).

For Mrs. Mary Bodington. Britannia Flour Mills, Birmingham. The concern later became Mary Bodington & Sons, and then the Britannia Mills Co.
