Includes sale particular of the property and three houses, Garden Street, Southover for sale at auction by Verrall and Son at the White Hart Inn, 7 Jun 1853. In 1824 John Longford [?Langford]conveyed a house on the bank under the Castle abutting White Lion Lane on the west and a piece of ground on the north and east sides, formerly owned by William Cooper, gent, to Henry Brazier, blacksmith who sold the property in 1841 to John Smith gent. He then sold to Stephen Weller in 1853 who sold to Montague Spencer Blaker in 1860. He then sold to Alfred Carter in 1881 who sold to Julius Gander in 1896.
