The Lodge of Tranquility was named and established in 1789 and met at Three Tuns Tavern, Smithy Door, Manchester. In 1804 the lodge met at the Pack Horse in the Apple Market, Manchester and the meetings remained there until the lodge was dissolved in 1809.
