Description (What the record is about)
-
The Palace, Hereford
The Bishop of Hereford to Mr. Swire.
As he thinks he said to Mr. Seddon, it is not easy for him to advise without a more exact knowledge of the locality. Looking at the map it seems as if the natural thing would be for Asterley to be transferred to the combined first and second portions and for Cruckton to go in exchange to the third portion.
It would not be fair to leave Lea Cross Church entirely out of consideration, as Mr. Seddon will have to provide for services there.
He thanks Swire for his invitation to stay when he visits Pontesbury on 11th May but he has accepted Mr. Seldon's invitation for that night. He is willing to be present at a meeting the next morning for a discussion of the whole question.
