These were among the office papers of the registrars.
This is primarily the personal and private business correspondence of the firm of solicitors at 213 High Street, Lewes, who were also registrars for the archdeaconry and the South Malling Peculiar.
During this period the firm was known by various combinations of the names Hoper, Greene, Hunt, Husey-Hunt, Currey and Nicholson.
