Signed and sealed; Edward Downes, William Harrison.
Lease for term of 7 years (terminable at six months notice) at £210 per annum with reservation of rights of mining and timber, game, and way, with prescribed conditions of cultivation, and obligations to mill; of a messuage in Shrigley called Normanshall and its fields called the Pingle, the Barn Field, the Meadow, the Greave, the Cawdow, the Higher Meadow, the Higher Barn Field, the Calf Croft, the Coney Green Field, Chorleys Coney Green Meadow, Allens Nook, the near Williamson's Field, the Blackhey Meadow, the Far Blackhey, the Near Blackhey, the near Knowle, the little Rushy Field, the Marl Pit Brow, the Great Rushy Field, the Great Meadow, the Ribbow Hills, and of land in Shrigley and Bollington called the Cow Pasture.

- Paper 2 sheets, text running pp.2 to 1, joined by thongs of parchment and seal tapes through turn-ups. Front sheets 23" wide by 15", other one 26" wide by 19". Pricked and ruled. Watermark "W. Turner & Son" and a device. Seals two signets on placard on tapes threaded in turn-up; (1) (left) red, octagonal, 17mm diameter, Edward Downes, device a Stag couchant, (2) red, oval, 12mm by 18mm, William Harrison, device a wheatsheaf.
