Indenture, covenant.

(1) Sam. Man of Warwick, tanner, and wife Sarah.

(2) Rich. Ward, yeo., father of Sarah as in (1) above. Wm. Ward, yeo., brother of Sarah as in (1) above. both of Woolston. Warks.

Reciting that wm. Edwards former husband of Sarah Man died intestate leaving only child Elizabeth Edwards now aged 7 and a good and considerable personal estate in ready money, credits goods and chattells of which administration was granted to his widow Sarah now Sarah Man; further reciting agreement between (1) and (2) on behalf of infant Elizabeth Edwards that 2 parts of intestate's estate amount to £300 and that also £300 by above Sarah during widowhood was put out to Mr. Thos. King of Coventry, beerbrewer, which last £300 (1) before marriage and at request of (2) agreed should be paid or secured to (2) for use of Elizabeth Edwards as her share of late father's estate, that Thos. King by appointment of (1) by bond dated 27 March 1690 is bound to (2) in £600 for payment of £300 to (2) for use of Elizabeth Edwards at specified time, now (1) agrees with (2) not to intermeddle with above £300, to permit (2) ordering and disposition of above money for Elizabeth Edwards until she reach age 21 or marriage. (2) agree with (1) to put forth above £300 on loan and pay interest to (1) for maintenance and education of Elizabeth Edwards and account to (1) on request and make final account and repayment to her at age 21 or on marriage.
