Hyde, ambassador at Nimeguen, 26 Aug., 1677; Lord Feversham, Envoy to France, 10 Nov., 1677; Ralph Montagu, amb. to France, 4 Dec., 1677; Sidney Godolphin, envoy to Flanders, 10 Jan., 1678; J. Brisbane, envoy to Handers, 25 Feb., 1678; Lord Howard, in command of English troops at Ostend, 27 Feb., 1678; the Duke of Monmouth, commanding English forces in the Netherlands, 3 Mar., 1678; Lord Feversham in Handers, 13 July, 1678. At the end (reversing the volume) are copies of letters of H. Coventry to the Duke of Monmouth in the Netherlands, 4 Sept., 1678 (f. 30b), and to Charles II. on Coleman's case, 7 Oct., 1678 (f. 30) and on a "daingerous designe" in Ireland, 27 Mar., 1680 (ff. 29, 29b).
