Royal Cambrian Lodge was granted a warrant by the Antients' Grand Lodge to meet as No. 135B on 11 August 1809. The Lodge was constituted on 24 November 1809. The Lodge met initially at an unknown location and then moved to the Parrot Inn, High Street, Newport, Monmouthshire. The Antients' and the Moderns' Grand Lodges formed a union in 1813 to form the United Grand Lodge of England, after which date the Lodge met as No. 162. The Lodge ceased meeting in July 1823 and was erased on 1 December 1830.
